Shooting Iraq in the Face Once Wasn’t Enough, So Cheney Reloads

Rusty

Notorious psychopath Dick Cheney visited the Green Zone today to coerce the Iraqi government into handing Iraq’s oilfields over to his friends at Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch Shell, Chevron, and BP Amoco for thirty years. As we all know, the folks at these struggling companies have families to support and can’t quite make ends meet on only $30 billion in profits every three months, so Dick’s humanitarian support for them is undoubtedly greatly appreciated in country clubs all over Houston.

Dick’s liberated friends in Iraq don’t appear to be as sympathetic, for 144 members of the Iraq National Assembly have formally “rejected the occupation of their country” and are calling for a timeline for the withdrawal of American troops. The corporate media responded to this dramatic development by ignoring it, and provided America instead with extended coverage of The Decider showing the tornado victims of Greensburg, Kansas that he knows how to start a chain saw.

While Bush played with his chain saw and Cheney snuck in and out of the Green Zone pretending he couldn’t hear incoming mortar fire from a few last throes dead enders, a former commanding general in Iraq spoke out in support of the Democrats position on funded withdrawal and accused Bush of destroying our Army.

Tragically, the destruction of our Army is going to continue unless Democrats Impeach Bush and Cheney. The Pentagon just announced that the surge will still be going on a year from now and confirmed that 35,000 troops will deploy to Iraq this fall. These announcements produced a frantic surge of 11 Republican congressmen to the White House, where a stunning, watershed moment occurred, according to NBC’s Brian Williams and Tim Russert.

Republicans actually confronting their pathological liar of a president would indeed be a stunning, watershed moment, but Bush isn’t in charge of this bloody occupation of Iraq, Dick Cheney is. That psychopath is reloading for the bloody long haul so Democrats need to take his shotgun away with the Feingold-Reid bill and then Impeach him and his chainsaw wielding pal from Crawford.
