H.R.635 PSA Project

Please help The People Speak radio which is trying to bring attention to House Resolution 635 and Congressman Conyers findings and efforts to hold the Bush Administration responsible for misconduct up to and leading to the Iraq War. The People Speak Radio has coordinated the production of celebrity Public Service Announcements(PSAs) in support of impeachment and House Resolution 635, that may be heard at by clicking the celebrity images below.

This effort is effective and growing fast! We at Soapbox4Truth whole-heartedly endorse their efforts. Please give what you can to make this program make a difference.

Ways to help

• 
  
  
• Inform your local radio station that the PSAs are available FREE for download and broadcast by clicking the images below. More are available at AfterDowningStreet.org
  
• Refer others to this page. Post messages on all progressive blogs telling the readers what great things ThePeopleSpeak Radio is accomplishing and encouraging them to give what they can in donations and in endorsments. Link: http://soapbox4truth.org/hr635psa/
  
• Write your representative and urge him or her to support H.R. 635 which calls for a bi-partisan investigation of the administration.
  
• Contact celebrities and politicians and urge them to record PSAs, too.
  
• Are you a celebrity or politician? DO IT!

It's my belief that this is a project appropriate for TeamConyersBlog. It's directly supporting our own Congressman Conyers and the passing of H.R.635 is one of our best hopes for the future of America. Please read the list of how you can help carefully and do everything you can to assist in this effort. Then post here your comments and accomplishments.

So far, I've donated money, posted on ConyersBlog and sent tips to michaelmoore.com and rawstory.com and, of course, created this page. I challenge everyone to do more than I'm doing. Now, I'm off to post on some progressive blogs!

I am going to contact my local community radio station to let them know about the PSAs. The more we can get these out there, the more citizens may understand the importance of H.R. 635!

These PSAs are very important in getting the word out to people that aren't online.

I'm calling and emailing all of my local stations asking them to air the ads.

Everyone please do the same. This really needs to get out to the public.

I will also be adding this url to my signature on web sites that I visit.

Spread the word and help restore our democracy.

Democrats must step up to the plate on HR 635. This legislation is the yard stick whereupon voters will measure whether you are a true democrat that has had enough of the lies, or a Joe Lieberman sucking up to the White House.

This is a very worthy project. I think we should have little difficulty getting these PSA's out for inclusion in blog sites, radio stations, etc. Support of H.R. 635 should be forthcoming along with the help of these dynamic public service announcements by Ed Ashner, Hayley Mills, Chevy Chase, and so many more. I hope everyone who visits our site will become active in this project and become as enthusiastic about it as we are.

I did a search for Michigan radio stations and got a nice site that had many of the urls listed in a nice scrolling format that saved my spot for me as long as I used the back button or go to function. I got all of the working stations listed emailed with our info. It was 126 using my email program plus the ones that had online forms. So I figure it was at least 160. I will just follow up the local ones with calls, but I figured it doesn't hurt to email the info to whoever we can.

Hello, Everyone: It was so nice to meet all of you on here. You are so joyous yet aware and seriously involved in trying to make a difference for the better. Thanks to those that have donated...it is very much appreciated and needed! I can't begin to tell you how seriously I take this project. It has consumed me. I will not stop until this administration under George Bush is held accountable. This past week as I read Condoleeza Rice's statement that Israel's attack upon Lebanon and the loss of hundreds of innocent lives of men, women, children and babies, were 'the birth pains of a new Middle East' it enraged me. How dare she speak such words on behalf of the citizens of this country?! I feel the US invasion of Iraq has emboldened Israel to launch its own Shock and Awe attack on Lebanon. There are allegations of Israel using illegal chemical weapons even. Thank you so much for your help...as I told you before, I do this because 'lives are on the line' and if we can but save a few through this work it is well worth it.

I read somewhere that the quote 'the birth pangs of a new Middle East' means ushering in the Rapture for those "evangelical" christian followers that lust war in the region so they can see the fulfillment of their beliefs.
