Demanding Truth, Justice and Accountability in Government

We hope that no one will feel offense by an "unusual" request we are about to make.

Our dear colleague and fellow blogger, Reed, is suffering dire straights as we write, most probably having, in part, to do with his political beliefs. We believe everyone here knows him to be extremely bright and capable.

Reed, has suffered a series of setbacks for near a year now and it is now crucial. Reed has been diligently pursuing the work market while going through the family savings, his wife had a job for a few weeks, then was laid off, his three children are in school, and the family is now faced with possible eviction from their rented home. A number of us are sending Reed whatever we can to help him over this momentary "hump". If any of you would like to help in whatever way you can financially or otherwise, we know Reed would be humbled and grateful by any gesture on your part.

Thanks for listening. And, thank you kindly for whatever gesture you may make.

Sincerely,

Tahoe and Alma

Perhaps they also learned that Rumsfeld, Foley, and Hastert were partners in the congressional page trade. A part of Porter Goss's hotel & limo service "poker" club.

You summed it up very nicely Rusty. Its about time they revolted. I know I've been revolted for years by Bush, and Rummy, et al.

If these military papers are successful in bringing about Rumsfeld's dismissal or resignation, I foresee that some of the older Generals, such as Shineski, etc. may come forth and help strip away the "veneer" that has plagued us these six long years, and, ultimately lay way for "broad" investigations, and "London's Bridge" may just start a tumbling down.

This is exciting news.

Great summary, Rusty.

This IS EXCITING news Rusty! Thanks fort sharing it! It's the first I've heard of it, but hopefully not the last! I hope it gets picked up big-time by the mainline media, just in time for Tuesday!

Great post, Rusty. All fingers are pointing to the same place. The tipping point is being reached.

Bush "shrugged off" these warnings from the military brass, according to Tony Snow. Apparently, the liberal media has taken over the Army Times, Navy Times, Air Force Times, and Marine Times.
